Picture this. It’s the final episode of Battlestar Galactica. After years of terror, destruction, tragedy and death, Human and Cylon have learned at last to accept each other, to celebrate their differences and to meld the best of both cultures into one whole.

The organic and the machine look forward into a bright new future, inherited by those who have wedded the best of humanity and the best of Cylon into one symbiosis. The past is behind them, the future is infinite. And the new species looks inwards, and wonders, what will we call ourselves?

And one of them suggests, “How about Borg? Borg sounds good.”

“”You’re not even remotely surprised, are you” is a question and requires a ?”” is a statement and requires a period, as well as the words “question mark,” written out, just like that, lest the reader think you are questioning the need for the letter a.

OH SNAP! Look at that grammatical bitch-slap right there!

Sigh Yes, I’m getting excited over the digital quivalent of a grammatical pissing contest - I live a boring, sheltered life :P

And the really sad thing is that the first comment was made on the wrong entry.
