So I've been out for a walk, I've reached the end of my book on tape, and I've turned over to the radio to get me the rest of the way home. As I walk into the convenience store, it's playing And the people in high places / Must be the ones to start / To forge a new reality / Closer to the heart...
I drop the headphones down around my neck while I browse for a cuppa soup, and there's a can of Campbell's Chunky in front of me labeled: "Sirloin Burger... Now With Sirloin!" I pick it up and stare at it for a moment. Now with sirloin? So, what did the Sirloin Burger have in it before? I mean, come on, seriously, what?!
I buy a can of soup, walk out of the store and pop the headphones back on, and now it's playing When I fight authority, Authority always wins...
It's beautiful weather and a nice day. That'll have to do.
