Today's "Social Studies" in the Globe & Mail says that there's a confident person inside all of us. So if he's so confident, why is he hiding?
Anyway. Where does the Fashion Television Channel, or possibly the runway shows they cover, get those indie songs that maybe three people in the world have heard of so you can't find the lyrics on the Internet and you're stuck sitting there with one hand on the keyboard and the other pressing the headphone right up to your ear, trying to pull every last syllabic thread out of the sound mix and knit them all together into something coherent? "I what? The what? I love the Satanic vibes of your coat?! What??!"
It doesn't help that the restrooms in the main building are wired with speakers broadcasting sounds from the channels formerly known as CHUM. Many of those channels are music video channels, but it's also possible to set the speakers to the news channel, CP24. Which means that if your mind is on other things ("Her hair is like a streetlight??") then you'll get a really nasty shock when you open the door to the men's room and hear a woman's voice saying "Hi!"
